DESCRIPTION:In honor of National Suicide Prevention week join AGC\, HCC\, EBECC\, CCA\, CEPA\, RMSCA\, ASAC\, IECRM\, and NUCA as we come together to raise money\, support\, and awareness for suicide prevention. For the second year in a row\, we'll support VitalCog\, a local suicide prevention training partner from the Johnson Depression Center at Anschutz Medical Campus.\n\n\n\nWhat's the goal?\n\nTo raise funds to support suicide prevention trainings within our industry. The proceeds of this event will cover:\n\n The cost for 15 industry leaders to participate in an 8-hour suicide prevention train-the-trainer course\n The cost for 30 individuals to participate in a 2-hour suicide prevention class\n All additional funds will be used to help create suicide prevention trainings and resources in Spanish\n\nWho should attend:\n\nThis event is open to anyone interested in supporting suicide prevention.\n\n\n\nWhat to expect:\n\nAn opportunity to come together across different associations for a common purpose.\n\nEnjoy a friendly cornhole competition\, deliciously diverse food\, and an opportunity to sign up for the incredible trainings listed above. AGC's Mental Health Working Group will provide resources and education to equip businesses with tools to address mental health and suicide concerns within the workplace.\n\n\n\nCornhole will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m.\n\n\n\nFor donation or sponsorship information\, please contact Maddy Smith at Maddy@agccolorado.org.
