SUMMARY:Introduction to Blueprint Reading (2/13\, 2/14\, and 2/27\, 2/28)
DESCRIPTION:Due to student demand\, the Introduction to Blueprint Reading curriculum has been expanded to cover 4 days of classroom instruction.  Textbook and plans will be provided\, and the instructor will cover basic materials and construction methods for the following divisions:\n\n \n\n  Blueprint Drawings and Specifications\n\n  Symbols and Conventions\n\n  CSI Divisions\n\n  Use  of Architect?s Scale and Engineer?s Scale\n\n  Civil\, Sitework\, Utilities\n\n  Structural Steel\n\n  Reinforced Concrete\n\n  Building Finishes Construction\n\n  HVAC\, Plumbing\, and Electrical Systems\n\n  Contract Documents\n\n\n\nBecause of the short nature of this course\, students should consider this a general overview of a lot of topics and materials devoted to reading a set of blueprints.
