CANCELLED - AGC's Make the Connection Speed Networking Event

Join AGC for a Make the Connection Speed Networking Event taking place on Tuesday, November 12th from 8:45am -12:00pm at the Construction Education Foundation Building. This event is specifically designed for our MWBE/SBE/DBE members to connect with AGC general contractors and sub-contractors.

Event Structure and Pairing: 

  • During the structured speed networking portion of the event, small, and diverse companies will rotate to a new booth every 15 minutes. AGC will help facilitate a vetted matching process prior to the start of this event.
  • Small and diverse businesses will elect to meet with designated booth sponsors. Pairings are intended to be mutually beneficial. Based on upcoming opportunities, GC and subcontractors may decline to meet with a small/diverse business if opportunities don’t align. The matching process will be managed by AGC. 
  • There will be open networking during the last hour of this event.
General Contractor or Sub-contractor Booths:
We will reserve a designated number of booths for the below categories.
  • 10 General Contractors 
  • 10 Subcontractors 
Who should attend?
  • AGC general or sub-contractors looking to connect with small, emerging, minority, or women-owned businesses
    • Required participation from: preconstruction, estimators, business development, and company executives.
  • Small, emerging, minority, or women-owned business seeking to build relationships with AGC general contractors or sub-contractors. 
    • Be prepared to spend 15 minutes with the companies you are paired with!
