Cornhole for the Soul - Suicide Prevention Fundraiser (9/9/2024)
In honor of National Suicide Prevention week join AGC, HCC, CCA, NUCA, and IECRM as we come together to raise money, support, and awareness for suicide prevention. For the third year in a row, we'll support VitalCog, a local suicide prevention training partner from the Johnson Depression Center at Anschutz Medical Campus.
What's the goal?
To raise funds to support suicide prevention trainings within our industry. The proceeds of this event will cover:
- The cost for 15 industry leaders to participate in an 8-hour suicide prevention train-the-trainer course
- The cost for 30 individuals to participate in a 2-hour suicide prevention class
- All additional funds will be used to help create suicide prevention trainings and resources in Spanish
This event is open to anyone interested in supporting suicide prevention.
What to expect:
An opportunity to come together across different associations for a common purpose.
Enjoy a friendly cornhole competition, delicious food, and an opportunity to sign up for the incredible trainings listed above. AGC's Mental Health Working Group will provide resources and education to equip businesses with tools to address mental health and suicide concerns within the workplace.
Cornhole will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m.
