STP Unit 3 - Planning & Scheduling (3/29/18-3/30/18)
The Supervisory Training Program (STP), is a 6-unit, 140-hour curriculum developed, updated and field-tested by AGC of America to help new Foremen, Supervisors and Superintendents develop the skills needed to manage people, time, equipment and materials. These units are designed to stand-alone and may be taking in any order. Take one or take them all, depending on the supervisory skills you want to cultivate.
STP Unit 3: Planning & Scheduling
This course will help construction supervisors understand ways in which planning and scheduling save time and money, while increasing quality in the construction process.
In STP Unit 3, you will learn about:
- Preparing the project plan
- Communicating the plan
- The critical path
- Computer use in scheduling
- Using the schedule on the jobsite
- Updating the construction schedule
- The schedule as documentation
- Using planning and scheduling
