AGC and HCC's 2024 Construction Inclusion Annual Meeting for Progress

Join AGC and HCC as we kick off Construction Inclusion Week on Monday, October 14th with a special educational opportunity designed specifically for the construction industry. This will empower businesses in our industry with the knowledge and skills to create a more inclusive and respectful workplace.
 
Learning Objectives:
  1. Understand Key Concepts: Gain a clear understanding of important concepts related to inclusion and how they manifest in our daily interactions.
  2. Recognize Personal Experiences: Reflect on and identify your own experiences with privilege and microaggressions to build greater self-awareness.
  3. Strategy for Reversal and Repair: Learn effective strategies to address and rectify microaggressions when they occur.
  4. Skills Training and Practice: Participate in small group sessions to practice new skills and strategies, ensuring you can apply what you've learned in real-world scenarios.

What is Construction Inclusion Week?
Construction Inclusion Week is October 14 - 18, 2024.
Launched in 2021, Construction Inclusion Week is the first national effort to harness the collective power of general contractors, specialty contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Construction Inclusion Week aims to build awareness of the need to improve diversity and inclusion in the construction industry by providing content and resources.
